New Phoneness

So I just got this new phone and I already love it! I can post to my blog on it which basically awesome and hopefully means I'll be posting more!

Yesterday I had a grad school reception and finally registered for my classes. It was okay, sort of boring though. I worked this morning and have work tomorrow night and then get to visit my friends at my alma mater! Sunday's my sister's birthday and then I work Monday and make time and a half!! So it'll be a good weekend overall.

A Very Unhappy Unbirthday

Well this morning sucked because I woke up and felt crappy but once I got to work it was better. I opened for the first time and it was nice. Pretty good day since then. Dad and I made tomato sauce and it rocks. I mean this stuff seriously kicks @$$ ;-)

My grandparents got new railings on their porch but their mattress still hasn't arrived.

My other grandma and I went out shopping yesterday and had lots of fun. We went to this Mexican place for lunch and I just enjoyed our whole day together. Then I got called into work last night. Closing isn't as much fun as opening but at least I got Jamba Juice for dinner (the ideal meal).

What's today, Friday? So Wednesday I went to see my friend's new apartment and they got their couch delivered. It was delivered in two pieces because it didn't fit through the doorway in one piece (they tried that three weeks prior). I actually had trouble believing it was going to make it into their apartment in only two pieces; although I suppose it ended up being four pieces after the frustrated movers tore off the cushions (they actually velcroed to the couch but all I heard was tearing) in an attempt to get it through the door. Either way, it reminded me of the "Pivot" episode of FRIENDS and made me laugh. It all got into the apartment eventually and was due to be put together a little later. I got an updated picture after I left, which is how I know all is well that ends well.

On Monday I went shopping and got my new clothes, I am extremely happy with them. Then my bf came over and stayed over to Tuesday. We went window shopping at the mall. The only item I bought was a sundress for La Festa next weekend which I may also wear for my cousin's birthday party tomorrow. She just got her license and I am very happy for her!

Got home from MD Sunday evening after a great trip and was very satisfied :-)

Well I think that's all for now, I really want to go out tonight, but everywhere I want to go is two and a half hours away. Oh well, I'll be there next weekend!

Annapolis

So my cousin goes to the Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD and we decided to come for a visit this weekend. My parents, my aunt and I left yesterday afternoon and got here in the evening and had a late dinner. Then we checked into the hotel and watched some tv and went to sleep.

This morning we woke up for the hotel breakfast at about 8:30 and left the hotel around 11 when the cleaning lady came to our door. We went to the Naval Academy which was really cool and historical and we saw their noon formation. Then we shopped at the store. It was very very large because it's where they have to buy everything when they can't leave. I got a sweatshirt and my parents got some stuff and everything. I really liked these shorts too, but I didn't end up getting them.

Then we went for some lunch in town which was really cool. It's so old fashioned and fun and it's right on the bay. We went to this little restaurant and got some really good food. Next we went to some shops and walked around. It was a lot of fun and then we got ice cream which was awesome! Basically that was my day, and now I am here resting for a while waiting for everyone else to get here.

I want it in black. It's so expensive but it would be so worth it. I don't usually lust over clothes but this makes me want it every time I see it since the first time. So basically 2-3 times a week for about 4 hours straight.

Last night I had a dream about work that they were getting rid of everything in the store while I was trying to buy clothes for work. I was running around trying to make a purchase and trying to find everything I wanted because it was being taken outside in garbage bags and I bought this beautiful jacket for $5.39 or something ridiculous like that. It was such a strange dream I half wish it were true but also really don't because my wallet was also stolen in the dream.

I am pretty sure I got screwed over in applying for my credit card bc I didn't buy anything and now I can't get an additional 15% off my purchase. I realized it this morning, 11 hours too late, and felt like an idiot. Oh well, there are other perks to the card. I also realized that it would be the best idea for me to go shopping Monday because my mom and I will be home and I don't have work that day. I have work Tuesday, so I can wear something new at work Tuesday. I'm going to feel like a walking advertisement but whatever.

Yesterday a lady came in and wanted a sweater like the one I was wearing and we have some similar stuff but I wasn't about to tell her it was from Express or wherever I bought it last winter. That's why I need to buy new clothes for work. Aside from the fact that I have very few clothes that I haven't worn yet. Also my pants don't actually fit me and I need shorter ones to wear with my flats so Monday seems like the best day to go shopping. By then I should know enough about my credit card also.

blah yesterday I got called into work and I just wasn't ready. Now I'm tired but I also have work tonight so I need to perk up! I'm trying to figure stuffs out for grad school and it just seems to be getting more and more complicated as I get into everything. All I want to do is register for classes and there are like 300 obstacles in my way. I really wanted everything to be completed before I went away this weekend but I guess that's not going to happen. I need to ask my mom a few things when she gets home and hopefully get a lot done tomorrow so I can at least feel a little better about everything. I hate feeling overwhelmed, but I will get this all done.

Another Rainy Day

Mmm so I just finished up some cheesecake my mom and sister brought home for me and it was awesome. It was a chocolate and peanut butter cheesecake from Cheesecake factory. Before that we had Mexican for dinner and ate some of my salsa. It was quite a great meal.

Today I decided on a grad school and started trying to register for classes and all that drama. I really just want to get it all figured out but it may take more time than I want it to. After doing as much as my sanity would allow, I went to my friend's house to watch some Criminal Minds. He got me a signed picture of Kate Pierson for a graduation gift!! It's pretty sweet.

In a little while my best friend is coming over to hang out before she has to go back to school on Wednesday :-/ I'm going to miss her and everyone else going back to school! But I guess it's that time again. I'd probably being going back Wednesday as well if I were still in undergrad. I'm going to miss it.
